Patterson has early favorite
In the recruiting would, January usually means that it's time for college coaches to make a last urgent push to fill out the remaining spots in their recruiting classes to be signed in February. In Texas, it's the prelude to a series of junior days that usually culminate in some schools filling out their classes for the following year by their spring game.
Texas A&M's first junior day of the new year is this upcoming Saturday, Jan. 17, and some of the top names in the class of 2010 are expected to be in attendance. One is Dallas Skyline linebacker Dominique Patterson who is one of the first linebackers to be offered by the Aggies.
The 6-foot-1, 210-pound Patterson has a scholarship offer from Texas A&M and is gaining heavy interest from Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, Texas, Notre Dame, Kansas, Kansas State and Alabama.
