Four-Star Tailback Talks Knoxville Trip

On a weekend full of surprise visitors Mississippi tailback Kendrick Hardy qualified as one of the most pleasant surprises for Volunteer fans. The four-star prospect is committed to Southern Miss, but may be re-thinking things after his trip to Knoxville.

Hardy (6-foot-0, 200 pounds) is among the many players who have seemingly come out of nowhere to land on the Vols' recruiting board since the complete overhaul of the Vols' coaching staff.

The new staff has very little time to make an impression with Hardy, so how did they do?

"Man, it was a great trip, I really liked it," Hardy said. "I was impressed with the campus and everything they had to offer on the academic side of things. It was a cool town to, I liked everything about it really. I was expecting to have a good time but it was probably better than I expected."
