4-star commitment speaks out

The No. 10 junior college player in America made his decision final in the past 48 hours and decided to stay at home in California. Santa Rosa (Calif.) Santa Rosa Junior College defensive end Donnie Pritchett says the Fresno State Bulldogs plan for him to play immediately.

Pritchett had a big sophomore season for the Bear Cubs and rose to the No. 10 overall JUCO recruit in the country this past month. He came down to the final days before making his decision and says Fresno State seemed like the best fit.

"I committed to Fresno State on Sunday after I talked to you," Pritchett said. "I feel really good about it. They put a lot of attention into me and I appreciated it. They told me they haven't gotten a lot of junior college players in recent years."
