Bulldogs ink 310-pound Jackson

The Mississippi State Bulldogs only signed one in-state offensive lineman today when Amite County tackle Gabriel Jackson inked with the Bulldogs.

The 6-foot-4,310-pounder from Liberty, Miss., chose MSU over the summer and stuck with his commitment through the tough season and coaching change that occurred.

Jackson said that several factors led him to choose the Bulldogs.

"I would say probably the biggest thing was how comfortable I felt there and my family felt comfortable there," Jackson said. "It really feels like a family there. It's close to home and I really like the coaches and it is a program on the rise. I knew it was where I wanted to go so I didn't feel like I should put the decision off anymore."
