Thames keeps his commitment to MSU

Since his recruitment began, Louisville, Miss., four-star Dennis Thames always had a favorite.

The 5-foot-11, 183-pounder revealed that top school when he committed to Mississippi State on his official visit on Jan. 16.

Now Thames has completed the process signing his national letter of intent on live television at the studios of WCBI in Columbus, Miss., alongside Chad Bumphis, Patrick Patterson and Deontae Skinner.

Thames led Louisville to back-to-back state championships during his junior and senior seasons. This past season despite missing several games due to a knee injury, Thames rushed 97 times for 677 yards and eight touchdowns and also grabbed 35 receptions for 532 yards and eight more scores. Defensively, he made 65 tackles and had two interceptions.
