Bruins land surprise

The Bruins landed a surprise recruit today who flew somewhat under the radar. He's a tough player who played and started at offensive guard as a sophomore. He started as a defensive end as a junior and had a breakout season as a senior playing his more natural position, middle linebacker.

The player in question is linebacker, Jared Koster (6-1, 225, 4.5) Norco, Calif.

Koster had been committed to Colorado State for some time, but UCLA was always there staying in the picture and in the end, he ended up getting a Bruin offer, which was too much for him to pass up.

Koster chose the Bruins over other offers from Colorado State and Air Force.
