San Diego RB has dangerous skills
San Diego County is one of the most underrated areas for football talent in the Golden State. At one time there were more players from the city of San Diego playing in the NFL than any other city. That is pretty impressive, when you think of all of the talent that comes out of the cities of Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, and Miami and other football hotbeds. The San Diego class of 2010 is the best in years.
One of the best players from the San Diego area this season will be running back Leslie Rogers (6-1, 190, 4.5) from San Diego (Calif.) Point Loma.
The talented running back is getting letters from everyone, but offers could be slow in coming since he tore his ACL during the playoffs against eventual state champ San Diego (Calif.) Cathedral. The game was close until Rogers was injured.
Arizona, USC, Washington and San Diego State are showing interest in Rogers.
Rogers earned second-team San Diego Section all-CIF as a junior and is a two-time all-league performer.
