Beal set to visit KU
Bradley Beal is no stranger to the University of Kansas or its basketball program. The 6-foot-3, 170-pound shooting guard from Chaminade College Preparatory School in St. Louis, Mo., participated in a team camp in Lawrence this past summer. Several months later, the elite prospect from the class of 2011, made his way to Lawrence for an unofficial visit during the weekend of Late Night in the Phog. Beal just informed Jayhawk Slant that he's set to return to Allen Fieldhouse this season.
For Beal, one of the elite prospects in the class of 2011, his season couldn't be going any better. He's averaging 23.7-points per game and has scored a total of 569-points. Beal has connected on 53.8 percent of all attempted field goals, 60.7 percent of his two-point field goals and 41.9 percent of his shots from behind the arc.
