Stephenville producing more talent

Stephenville High School is one of the more storied programs in the state of Texas. When one thinks of the program, though, they usually recalls quarterback prospects like Texas A&M's Branndon Stewart, Houston's Kevin Kolb and Ole Miss' Jevan Snead. However, the Yellowjackets have also sent prospects at other positions to Division I schools and junior defensive tackle T.R. Varnado hopes to be the latest success story out of the town.

The 6-foot-1, 280-pound Varnado has started on the Stephenville varsity team since his freshman year. This past season, he tallied 25 solo tackles and seven sacks in earning first-team All-District, second-team all-DFW and third-team All-State honors.
