Favors Has his Eye on the Big 12 South
Much has been made of the bond between Fort Worth (Texas) Dunbar's trio of stars. Wide receivers Dominique Sanders and Darius White are joined on the defensive side of the ball by linebacker/safety Rashod Favors. The 6-foot-1, 230-pound defender says that the attention is well deserved as the three truly are good friends, even if he and White once had a serious middle-school rivalry.
"Me and Darius had a rivalry since we were little. I used to be taller than Darius I was like 5-10 and he was 5-8, and everyone called him D-Money. I kept hearing about him and asked who this guy was and someone pointed him out to me and I'm like 'that's D-Money?'," Favors said.
"Then I watched him and I realized he could play all the way. Then once we got together we met Dominique and I knew him from AAU. After we got together our freshman year it was all there, everything to us came simple."
As of late both Sanders and White have kept any favoritism to one school or another to themselves but Favors says there is one school that is weighing pretty heavily on his mind at this early stage of his recruiting.
