Fobbs picks up two offers
Texas A&M made a concerted effort this past year to get back to a recruiting tactic that helped them become a dominant force in college football in the late 80's and early 90's. Though they sit in the middle of the most talent-rich state in the country when it comes to high school athletes, the Aggies have started looking to a neighbor for a little extra help. In the 2009 class, A&M signed three players, including two four-star prospects, from the state of Louisiana. They are hoping to do the same again in 2010.
A few weeks after targeting New Orleans Isidore Newman athlete Ronnie Vinson, the Aggies offered another athlete from the Pelican State in Shreveport Huntington's Jarrett Fobbs. It was actually the junior's second offer he received in the same week.
