Hard hitting safety visiting Iowa

With six early scholarship offers, Indianapolis safety Isaiah Lewis has been busy in recent weeks getting out to visit several of the schools on his list. This weekend, his travels will take him to Iowa City to watch the Hawkeyes at work in spring practice.

Iowa and Indiana were the first two programs to offer Lewis a scholarship back in January. Since then, the hard-hitting safety has added a few more schools to his list, including Purdue, Kentucky, Michigan State, and Minnesota.

Lewis has already visited the two in-state schools, Indiana and Purdue, and has also been to Kentucky. After seeing Iowa, he hopes to get out to Michigan State and Minnesota yet this spring as well. If things go according to plan, Lewis would like to make his college decision before the start of his senior year.
