Texas OT picks up Auburn offer

Offensive tackle is a huge priority for Auburn in the 2010 class. The Tigers will likely look to take nearly a handful, if not more. Auburn landed its first tackle of the year Saturday when Olive Branch (Miss.) High's Shon Coleman committed.

The Tigers are also taking a look out West.

DeSoto (Texas) offensive tackle Evan Washington, 6-foot-5, 290 pounds, recently received an offer from Auburn. Washington, being recruited to the Plains by Curtis Luper was excited about the news.

"Auburn offered me and it felt good," said Washington. "They are definitely on my list. I just need to take more time to find out about the program."
