Detroit's Lippett gaining recruiting momentum

Detroit Crockett athlete Tony Lippett has been a three-year starter at quarterback for the Rockets, but the 6-3, 185-pound Lippett may be playing another position at the college level. Dozens of colleges around the Midwest are currently evaluating Lippett to see exactly where he possesses the most potential.

Last fall, Lippett threw for 1,750 yards, 18 touchdowns and just six interceptions. He also ran for 755 yards and 16 touchdowns and added five interceptions as a free safety on defense.
