Four-star Fobbs collecting offers

Shreveport, La., speedster Jarrett Fobbs has continued to see his popularity grow among recruiting circles since receiving his first offer from Mississippi State.

The 5-foot-11, 180-pound athlete now has nine offers on the table from around the country but is keeping a level head throughout the entire process.

"Right now everything is going fine," Fobbs said. "It's a little stressful at times but I guess that's just how it is. I'm just staying active so I don't really think about it too much. I don't want to get too big-headed about it. I just keep my mind off of it."

Fobbs' offer from the Bulldogs came as a surprise in late February.

"I hadn't had too much contact with them before they offered me," Fobbs said. "The next thing I know they had offered me. I really like their program. I like how they've got the new coach coming in from Florida, their offensive coordinator. I think he will turn things around over there."

Soon after MSU offered, Texas A&M joined the mix for Fobbs' signature on national signing day. The four-star standout now has added offers from Baylor, Ole Miss, Missouri, Nebraska, Tennessee, Tulane and Louisiana Tech.
