Edison DB is open to options
Fresno (Calif.) Edison has been one of the most consistent programs over the years developing defensive backs. At one time two years ago, Edison had eight defensive backs who started on the D-I level. This year it is Tevin McDonald's (5-11, 182, 4.6) turn to represent the school as a D-I bound defensive back.
McDonald has tremendous bloodlines, his dad is a former All-American defensive back at USC and All-Pro safety for the San Francisco 49ers Tim McDonald and is brother is USC bound safety T.J. McDonald.
The youngest McDonald is well young for a high school senior who is only 16 years old. He earned first-team all-league, first-team all-metro and first-team all-area as a junior after recording three interceptions and nine pass breakups.
You have to remember that there aren't many teams that try to throw against Edison because of their talented stable of defensive backs.
