Two-way standown sees offers rise to four

Two-way standout Davon Dunn (6-0, 184, 4.45) from San Diego (Calif.) Lincoln has four offers on the table. He could notch number five tomorrow (Tuesday May 5th) when a Pac 10 is scheduled on the Lincoln campus.

Dunn has offers on the table form Arizona, San Diego State, Fresno State and Colorado. The word is Cal will be number five when the Bears arrive on campus Tuesday. He is getting recruiting attention from the likes of Oregon, Oregon State, UCLA, USC, Washington, Boise State, Utah and Notre Dame.

For good reason too, Dunn is a playmaker on both sides of the ball. From his cornerback position, while locking down on the opposition's best receiver, he accounted for 58 tackles, seven pass deflected and three interceptions. In two years starting at cornerback, Dunn hasn't allowed one touchdown.

On offense playing slot-back, he scored 25 touchdowns. He scored 17 touchdowns rushing the football, while eight came on pass receptions.

Dunn is stellar as a punt returner, too, as he returned four punts for touchdowns.
