UCLA target selected to US Army Game

Four-star linebacker/defensive end Josh Shirley (6-3, 225, 4.53) from Fontana (Calif.) Kaiser was recently selected to play in the US Army All-American All-Star game in January. That's not the only good news of late for impressive defensive player from the Inland Empire. He also picked up two more offers over the past few days.

"Being selected to the US Army All-American game makes me feel real good," Shirley said. "It was unexpected. I was looking forward to that happening and it actually came."

Things are also staying hot on the recruiting trail for Shirley.

"It's not a fact yet, but I am definitely thinking about visiting Tennessee," Shirley said. "UCLA is also a high consideration for a visit, but that it is right now."

Shirley was selected to the Rivals.com preseason Rivals250 team for the class of 2010.
