UCLA lands one
The Bruins picked up the commitment from a player that plays a position of extreme need. He asked the right questions and he received the right answers.
The Bruins picked up a verbal commitment from Julious Moore (6-0, 268, 4.76) from Bellevue, Wash., and he is just what the doctor ordered, a big inside defensive lineman who can move.
Moore, who is very academically inclined, likes what he saw in UCLA.
"I went to the academic center and I talked to some the head guys there," Moore said. "They told me about the structure of the classes that the football players take and the time will be spread out throughout the year and what kind of classes and what it takes to be eligible and things like that.
"Ultimately that's what led me to committing to UCLA," Moore said. "Academics were the key."
The coaches also played a large part in the decision making process.
