When it comes to the recruiting process, Sandy Creek running back Rajion Neal continues just to soak things in.
Today, the 5-foot-11, 192-pounder is in Gainesville, Fla. visiting Urban Meyer and the Gators, hoping to add one more offer to his already growing list.
Thus far, the 2010 recruit holds offers from nine schools, including a pair from SEC members Kentucky and Mississippi State.
Neal camped this past week at Georgia. The Bulldogs haven't offered, but the running back has his fingers crossed that the Gators might be more accommodating.
"The word is that if I do good, I think they'll put an offer on the table so I think we're just going to go up there and work," Neal told Barton Simmons of Rivals.com. "One of the coaches, Coach Carter, came down and watched me and he said after I come up there and do a one-day, we're going to sit down and put everything on the table and he's going to let me know where I stand."
After the visit to Florida, Neal hinted he may attend camps at Auburn and Mississippi State before making up his mind.
Either way, his decision is expected to be coming soon.
"I'm going to commit before the start of our season," Neal said. "I think we're going to do that sometimes in July."
Neal also holds offers from Louisville, East Carolina and Southern Miss.
"I'm just looking for somewhere I can spend the next three or four years and be happy," he said. "I'd like to go where I'd have a chance to win and to a team that has fun playing the game."
