Swigert picks up offer from Eagles
Bobby Swigert recently picked up offers from Boston College and Nebraska and the Louisville, Ohio wide receiver said he plans to visit both places before he makes any kind of decision.
Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana and Maryland stand out the most at this point for Swigert, who also has offers from Colorado, Pittsburgh, Syracuse and a bunch of MAC schools and others.
He recently attended Ohio State's camp and is hoping for an offer. Swigert might also camp at Notre Dame this summer. An offer from either school could be a big factor in his recruitment but Swigert is not rushing into a decision.
"Those are the two of the biggest ones I'd like to have," he said. "They seem to be pretty interested. I think they just want to see me play a little bit and make sure I'm legit so that's why I'll go to their camps. If I perform well I hope they might offer me at some point."
A visit later this summer to Boston College could be big in his recruitment. He said the Eagles' offense could suit him because he's more of a slot receiver who catches short passes and then makes things happen downfield.
"I'm like an inside slot guy, that's the best position for me, little short passes where I can get the ball and move with it," Swigert said.
