Bruin four-star target names top five

Anthony Barr from Los Angeles (Calif.) Loyola now has over 20 formal offers and he should get more. He has named a top five with all of them having offered him, minus one. Who is that one major university and who are the other four fortunate Division-I schools to make the select list for this four-star rated athlete?

"Notre Dame, Cal, UCLA, SC and Florida," Barr said in reference to those lucky five. "Florida hasn't officially offered yet, but they said they are going to. I haven't received anything, so I am not sure about that."

Barr has offers from two of the major football programs that are near his home in Torrance. USC has had more success recently, so it does make a difference in his thinking between USC and UCLA? And what are his current thoughts on the UCLA Bruins?

"No, not really," he said, referring to USC having an advantage by winning more recently. "I think (the UCLA Bruins) are going to be on the up-and-coming and they are going to have a good class and they are looking good.

"From talking to coach Rick Neuheisel, I'm really feeling comfortable with him. He seems like a good person and I have a lot of interest in them."
