Canadian home to another top DE

Way up in the far north of the Texas panhandle, there is a powerhouse football program at Canadian High School. Though they play in the state's smallest classification, the Wildcats have won two consecutive state titles and are a force to be reckoned with.

Though last year's was a very senior-laden team, there was a sophomore who made a big impact on the road to the state title. Defensive end Ryan Alexander was a first-team all-state selection after tallying 70 tackles and 15 sacks. He has drawn the attention of colleges and has attended a couple of camps already this summer.
