Small-town star has TCU among favs

While it's not a shock to anyone that the state of Texas sends more high school players to the college ranks every year, it is becoming more of a surprise to see where some of these prospects call home. Long known as the place to find a laundry list of players, you don't necessarily have to find those playmakers only at the 5A and 4A levels.

Last year nearly 50 prospects from class 3A and below earned D-1 rides and it looks like the trend will continue in the 2010 recruiting class. One such player who is just starting to garner some interest from major programs is athlete Nathan Jeffery, who is a local star at class 2A Caddo Mills.
