Florida WR Williams Talks Vols, Recruiting

Recruiting the state of Florida to some degree or another is considered a necessity for most programs in the South, and Tennessee is no exception. Three out of the vols 13 early verbal commitments are from the Sunshine State, and there could be more to come. One of many prospects the Vols are currently pursuing in the state is wide receiver Kody Williams.

Williams (6-foot-2, 185 pounds), from Niceville, Fla., has the frame of a prototypical college wideout, and the speed to go with it. He also has an impressive offer list from programs from all points of the map.
The athletic Williams had 953 yards receiving for a 9-3 Niceville squad in 2008 and also averaged 17 points per game as a shooting guard in basektball season.

Rivals.com rates Williams as a three-star prospect.
