Loften's Quiet Summer, wasn't

One of the most quiet of all of Oklahoma's commitments this summer has been Irving (Texas) Nimitz four-star safety Eddrick Loften. One of the Sooners first commitments, the 5-foot-10, 195-pound prospect did find time to take in Oklahoma's summer camp as well as participating in the Gridiron Kings competition just a few weeks ago in Florida.

The hard-hitting safety says his summer was a success all the way around and spent much of his time improving his relationships with his future teammates.

"I got to meet Brennan Clay and some of the other guys down there that Oklahoma is recruiting. I was just watching them and how they played," Loften said. "I talked with them a little bit, I was talking to Brennan when we played."
