Three star corner plans on visiting CMU

Khari Burke, the nation's No. 66 ranked corner in Rivals.com 2010 rankings, has a favorite, and it just so happens to be the Central Michigan Chippewas. The 5-foot-10 and 175 pound corner out of South Plantation (FL) has his taken game at another level this year after an impressive camp circuit this summer. After suffering a few non conference losses Burke knew he had to step up his game

"We struggled early on not playing to well on both sides of the ball but we have all the corrected now" says Burke.

The multi-dimensional Burke plays corner, wide receiver, and returns both kickoffs and punts for his squad, and has been tabbed as one of the fastest players in the state of Florida. The all-state corner is being recruited by CMU, EMU, Bowling Green, Auburn, Old Miss and South Florida. While he has yet to make any visits, Burke has a general idea of what schools he is going to see.

"I plan on visiting Central Michigan, Auburn, Bowling Green and Eastern Michigan, maybe a few more" said Burke.

Helping CMU's cause is the great relationship Burke has developed with his main recruiter, wide receivers coach Zach Azzani. Of the schools he plans on visiting, CMU is currently ranked the highest with an offer, and Burke is seriously considering joining the Chippewas.

Burke plans on having a decision on which school he will attend sometime near the end of the high school football season. He is still awaiting scholarship offers from BCS schools Auburn, Ole Miss, and South Florida, but still has the Chippewas at the top of his list.
