Strengths: Singletary is a very quick with the ball in his hands. He can get into the lane nearly at will, and is also very good at getting separation for his outside shot. He can hit the college 3-pointer, and can also pull-up from the 18-20 foot range and hit shots with high degrees of difficulty. In terms of point guard skills, Singletary does a good job drawing defenders in the lane and making the drive-and-dish play.
Weaknesses: Singletary's decision-making is very suspect. He's turnover-prone and settles for some very bad shots - even if he can occasionally hit them. His floor management leaves a lot to be desired at this stage, and he's probably not ready to run an NBA team yet. He's undersized at 5'11 and 180 pounds, and he's not very good defensively. He lacks the lateral quickness you'd expect from a player his size.
Outlook: Singletary has an outside chance of being drafted, but will likely have to work on his game in the D-League before he gets a real chance with an NBA team. He has a lot of nice skills, but hasn't shown he can consistently play a smart game on the offensive end.
