NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Junior small forward Tyler Harris had his full arsenal on display for Albany City Rocks in a win over BABC in its last game of the Nike Peach Jam.
The 6-foot-6 1/2, 190-pound Harris scored 22 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and dished out three assists in the 66-60 victory over BABC. He went 8 of 15 from the field (1 of 4 on three-pointers), and 5 of 6 from the free-throw line.
Harris easily had his best game of the tournament, where he averaged 12.2 points and 6.6 rebounds per game over five contests.
The Wolfpacker was there to catch the action. Harris is one of the top targets for the NC State coaching staff, which watched him in action at the Peach Jam. The Half Hollow Hills West High product is ranked No. 70 in the country and the No. 17 small forward by Rivals.com.
Harris has a lengthy list, but said South Florida, NC State, Virginia Tech and Washington, are recruiting him the hardest. He was offered a scholarship by NC State during the spring, and is getting recruited by Wolfpack assistant coach Larry Harris.
