GREENSBORO, N.C. - NC State fifth-year senior middle linebacker Nate Irving and senior wide receiver Owen Spencer addressed the media Sunday at the ACC Football Kickoff.
Spencer led the country last year in average yards per catch (25.5), breaking his own single-season record. The 6-foot-3, 185-pounder had 30 catches for 765 yards and six touchdowns last year.
Irving missed last year after a serious leg injury suffered in a car accident June 28, 2009. Irving had 84 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, one sack and four interceptions during the 2008 season at outside linebacker, but has now moved to the middle for his last season in Raleigh.
