Four UK signees to play in Jordan game

Kentucky's four 2011 basketball signees were officially named on Tuesday to play in the Jordan Brand Classic game in April.

Point guard Marquis Teague of Indianapolis, small forward Mike Gilchrist of New Jersey, power forward Anthony Davis of Chicago and power forward Kyle Wiltjer of Portland, Ore., are among the players selected for the April 16 game at Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, N.C.

The game, now in its 10th year, will be at 8 p.m. EST and televised on ESPN2.

Teague and Gilchrist will play on the East team, and Davis and Wiltjer will be West teammates.

Three players who eventually signed with UK were in the game last season - current freshmen Brandon Knight, Terrence Jones and Doron Lamb. Former UK players John Wall, DeMarcus Cousins and Daniel Orton were in the 2009 game.

Teague, Gilchrist, Davis and Wiltjer were all named to the McDonald's All-American boys' game last week. That game will played on March 30 in Chicago.
