Class of 2012 Hoops Prospects: Revised Rankings!

The Boy's Basketball Class of 2012 has some unique flavor to it filled with some prominent perimeter players. In fact, eight of the top 18 ranked players for 2012 are wings. At the top of the list is Miller School swingman Andrew White, who holds upwards of 20 scholarship offers, highlighted by such schools as Miami (FL), Utah, BYU, Virginia Tech and South Florida.

Three of the Top Ten are headed to the Big East in Kecoughtan sharp shooter Joshua Fortune (Providence), athletic Maury wing Jamal Ferguson (Marquette) and Miller big man Brandon Bolden (Georgetown), while two more have already committed to the ACC with Fredericksburg Christian guard Seth Allen (Maryland) and Roanoke Catholic center Andre Washington (Wake Forest).

Off their Final Four appearance last April, VCU has gotten a quick jump on the 2012 class in the state with early commitments from Middleburg Academy forward Mo Alie-Cox and Benedictine swingman Jordan Burgess, whose older brother Brad stars for the Rams. Both Alie-Cox and Burgess are ranked among the top 15.
