Rockets Reel in 2nd Commitment of the Day

Toledo head coach Matt Campbell received his 2nd commitment of the day this evening when Dayton, Ohio offensive lineman Ray Marlow gave his commitment to the Rockets.

Marlow, 6-7 and 323 pounds, had narrowed his list to Toledo, Northern Illinois, and Ohio University before deciding on Toledo. During the recruiting process he received offers from Akron, Ball State, Memphis, Northern Illinois, Ohio University, and Toledo.

Marlow played his high school ball at Carroll High School in Dayton, Ohio. He projects as an offensive tackle in college.

He took an official visit to Toledo last weekend, and came away very impressed with new Toledo head coach Matt Campbell. Even though Campbell was just the interim head coach during the visit, Campbell was named permanent head coach Monday night.

Marlow is the 2nd commitment of the day for Toledo, and the 20th commitment in Toledo's 2012 football recruiting class.
