Top recruit makes a move
When the initial Rivals100 rankings came out, the nation's top two prospects were also the top two players in the state of Georgia.
As of Wednesday, that is no longer the case.
The second ranked prospect by Rivals.com and former Troup linebacker Reuben Foster has enrolled at Auburn High School (Auburn, Ala.) and the Alabama commit will play his senior season for the Tigers.
"I'm moving right now," said Foster. "I have enrolled there."
The move is largely due to the firing of former Troup Head Coach, Charles Flowers, who was a father-figure to the fives star linebacker.
"It's tough for him I know," said Foster. "It is just a tough situation and we decided to make the move."
According to Foster, the move was made simple by the solid reputation in regards to academics and athletics.
"We chose to move to Auburn because it is a good school," said Foster. "They have a good school and a good football program. I think I can help them be better and win a ring."
Foster has maintained throughout the process that he is committed to the Crimson Tide, but open to other schools, and according to the blue chip defender, nothing will change in his recruitment.
"This is just a move of schools," said Foster. "That is all it is. It was time to make a move, and we did. It doesn't change who schools I am interested in or my commitment right now."
