During Saturday's closed scrimmage, junior quarterback Logan Thomas had to call it a day a little bit early with what he and coaches called a "tired arm."

While the event raised a few eyebrows among the media and Hokies fans, Thomas today made reassurances his arm is fine. It was simply tired from extended use, even through this summer. Thomas said he simply needed a day or two of rest.

It's a good thing Thomas has rest as he and Virginia Tech face a stiff challenge Monday against Georgia Tech in the season-opener.

Today, Thomas talked about the challenges the Yellow Jackets present at Virginia Tech's weekly press conference.
