With four of the five starters new, the Virginia Tech offensive line has had question marks of whether or not it was ready.

Though the line allowed a pair of sacks of quarterback Logan Thomas, the unit also played a big role in helping the Hokies get into position for Cody Journell's game-tying and winning field goals.

Senior Vinston Painter is one of those new starters. Though he said he was partially to blame for one sack, he also said he believes the communication is good within the group. Painter spoke at yesterday's press conference to look back at the season-opener and look ahead to Austin Peay.
