Northwestern offered record-setting Class of 2014 wide receiver Derek Kief on Tuesday.
The 6-foot-5, 185-pounder from Cincinnati (Ohio) LaSalle broke a 29-year-old school record when he caught his 60th pass of the season on Friday night against St. Francis DeSales. He leads the Greater Catholic League with 856 yards receiving, including eight touchdowns.
The Northwestern offer, which was reported via Twitter, is Kief's fifth. He also holds offers from Cincinnati, Illinois, Indiana and Toledo and is receiving interest from the likes of Michigan, Ohio State and Notre Dame.
Kief is teammates with Class of 2013 cornerback Jaleel Hytchye, who has Northwestern as one of his final schools. Both players visited Northwestern in July, along with Wildcat commitment Keith Watkins, who goes to nearby Cincinnati Moeller.
