Skinny: Dimon and the Tigers vanquished the torment of the last year after crushing LaPorte, who shockingly ended Katy's season last year, 55-10. Dimon with a sack, two tackles for loss and several more tackles led a defense that was near perfect allowing just 41-yards of total offense and forcing three turnovers against a Laporte team that was 11-1 coming in.

The Skinny:Week 15 MVPFord and his Ranch teammates pulled off the biggest win in school history upsetting mighty Manvel and future teammate Austin Bennett 43-42 thanks to two touchdowns in the final minutes including Ford's two point conversion and his game winning score with 11-seconds remaining. Against one of 5A's top teams Ford had 28-carries for 133-yards and three touchdowns (2, 9, 5) and 145-yards receiving on four catches including a 75-yard touchdown.

The Skinny: Smallwood brought his stellar career to a close with Jenks' No. 13 state title but their first since 2007 beating Norman North in the 6A state final 55-20. On the night Smallwood managed four catches for 50-yards and two touchdowns (27, 11).
