Springdale Har-Ber four-star defensive tackle Josh Frazier has received a ton of accolades during his high school career, and holds multiple scholarship offers.
He currently holds offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Arkansas State, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Notre Dame, Texas A&M, and USC.
Despite all of the accolades that have come his way, his best one may have come today as he was named to the Rivals.com Top 100. He is also listed as the number 92 overall prospect in the nation, in addition to being rated the sixth best defensive tackle.
Springdale Har-Ber head coach Chris Wood spoke with ArkansasVarsity.com to give his thoughts on Frazier being named to the Rivals Top 100.
"I think it is great for him," said Wood. "It is always a blessing to have a player like that in your program. Having a top guy like that in your program always draws attention to your program, and I think it helps open up opportunities for other kids to be seen."
"He is just such an explosive player," Wood continued. "He can do so many things, and I think that if you are a 3-4 or a 4-3 team, there will be a place for him."
Wood also stated that recruiting interest is steady for Frazier.
"There are a lot of schools still showing interest," he said. "There are some researching if he is willing to go across the country, or if he is a homebody. I think a lot of schools are just doing their research on him, and recruiting is going steady for him."
