In the end, there was no place like home for shooting guard William Jackson who announced he will sign with Georgia following his de-commitment from defending national champion UConn.

The Athens Christian standout is the first commit from the Class of 2015 to Bulldog basketball coach Mark Fox.

As the nation's 107th-rated prospect according to Rivals.com, the 6-foot-4 four-star playmaker is considered a unique prospect due to his versatility, including his ability to play either on or off the ball.

Jackson is coming off a knee injury but is reported to be near 100 percent. Prior to the injury, he was ranked 39th by Rivals.com.

Much more to come.
