Parker Boudreax battles during one-on-one drills at EverBank Field on Saturday.
JACKSONVILLE -- The next generation of elite high school prospects were on display at EverBank Field on Saturday at the third annual Rivals250 Underclassmen Challenge Presented by Under Armour. Over 200 prospects from the 2016 and 2017 classes, and a few from 2018, competed on a warm, overcast day.
Arizona commit Shea Patterson was named quarterback MVP among a deep collection of talented quarterbacks. Patterson outdueled LSU commit Feleipe Franks and Michigan commit Messiah Deweaver, among others.
Defensive back Aapri Washington was the lone member of the class of 2017 to take home an MVP award after his stellar play.
Linebacker Daelin Hayes, who was one of the few players who also participated in the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge, was the day's top linebacker.
There were some fierce one-on-one battles along the lines, and Chidi Okeke-Valentine was the OL MVP while McTelvin Agim the DL MVP. The two had some highly charged encounters.
The Underclassmen Challenge wraps up the Rivals Camp Series season, which started in February in New Orleans and featured 16 regional camps, plus the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge and Rivals250 Underclassmen Challenge.
