Jamie Robinson Headed Out Of State

Northwestern DB Jamie Robinson (6-3 185) has decided to play his college football outside of South Carolina. Robinson said Sunday afternoon he has narrowed his decision to Florida State and Virginia Tech eliminated Clemson from consideration.

"I was just more impressed with Florida State than I was with Clemson," Robinson said. "They were already down one, so I can just rule them out."

Sunday afternoon Robinson had five Florida State coaches in his home, including head coach Bobby Bowden.

"It went real well," he said of the meeting. "I was not really tempted to commit because I said i want to make my decision after my visits."

Robinson said there is not leader between FSU and Virginia Tech. He will visit Virginia Tech next weekend and might have his decision by as early as next Sunday night.
