Heading in to the NIKE Combine in Brooklyn (N.Y.) this past Saturday, there was little doubt who would record the days top SPARQ Rating. Fort Washington (MD) Friendly running back Josh Haden scored a 111.52 at the NIKE Camp at Penn State a year ago and was gunning for the overall SPARQ Rating record this weekend.
Despite bettering his numbers in the 40 and vertical jump, Haden came up just a bit short in his bid to break the SPARQ Rating record. He did distance himself from the rest of the athletes in New York and showed why many consider him among the top athletes and football players in the country.
Here's a look at the rest of the overall top 10 SPARQ Ratings from Saturday.
Note: The 40-yard dash and the 20-yard shuttle at the NIKE Combine in New
York were timed outdoors on field turf. Not all players chose to test and some
had their marks scratched in individual events. The top SPARQ Ratings should be
considered unofficial until all the data is entered later this week.
