Columbia (SC) AC Flora offensive lineman Kenneth Page is SCVarsity.com's No. 3 player for the Class of 2008 and will be one of the top ranked OL's in the country this season. He's also the the South Carolina player with the most activity on the recruiting board, getting new offers each week. Now, he gets the call from Notre Dame.

Most recently, Michigan, Michigan State, and Oklahoma offered the big man. North Carolina, Kentucky, and Auburn had already extended offers early on.

Page's coach, AC Flora head coach Robin Bacon, told SCVarsity.com Tuesday morning that he had received a call from Notre Dame DB coach Bill Lewis, who recruits the area for the Irish. He called to offer Bacon's star lineman. Page, who is on Spring Break, is on a recruiting visit tour to Central Florida, University of Florida, and Florida State this week. Bacon spoke to Page via phone and he will be talking to Lewis at 1pm Tuesday for the offer from Lewis and Coach Charlie Weis.

His offer list now includes Notre Dame, Michigan, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Clemson, South Carolina, Colorado, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Stanford, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt.

Page says he does not anticipate an early commitment and wants to take his recruiting to the end.

Page is No. 3 on the SCVarsity.com Top Ten prospect list for the Class of 2008 and the state's top ranked offensive lineman by SCVarsity.com
