Texas Tech fans were so excited about beating No. 1 Texas that they rushed the field with one second still left in the game. After order was restored and the Red Raiders held on, the real celebration began.
Thought you'd kick butt, you did:USC Thought you'd kick butt, you didn't: Missouri Thought you'd get your butt kicked, you did: Nebraska Thought you'd get your butt kicked, you didn't: Arkansas Dang, they're good: Florida Dang, they're bad: Iowa State You ain't fooling anybody (in a bad way): Kentucky You're fooling everybody (in a good way): Oregon State Did the season start? Strike the pose:Tim Tebow completed 10-of-13 passes for 154 yards and two TDS, and ran 12 times for 39 yards and three TDs in Florida's 49-10 win over Georgia.
Didjaya see that?: Purdue's Desmond Tardy scored the game-winning TD on a hook-and-ladder with less than 30 seconds left to steal a 48-42 victory over Michigan that guarantees the Wolverines' 33-year bowl streak is over.
That hurts: Georgia Tech QB Josh Nesbitt hurt an ankle in the third quarter. Backup Jaybo Shaw lost a fumble and was intercepted, but the Yellow Jackets still beat Florida State, 31-28, for the first time since 1975 when Seminoles RB Marcus Sims fumbled into the end zone in the waning seconds.
Isn't that special?: Iowa State's Leonard Johnson set a Division I-A single-game record for kickoff return yards with 319 on nine runbacks in the Cyclones' 59-17 loss to Oklahoma State.
