SAN ANTONIO - It was more than five months ago when Apopka, Fla., athlete Jeremy Gallon made his commitment to Michigan. At the U.S. Army All-American Game, the No. 13 athlete in the country confirmed that nothing has changed since.

"I'm not going on visits to anywhere else," Gallon said. "I actually made that decision before my senior year. They came to me, and they were talking to me about their football team and their education system."

The 5-foot-8, 165-pound prospect will officially visit the Wolverines the following weekend after the bowl game.

"I look forward to see a good communication amongst the school and the team," Gallon said. "I want to see the school and the sites like that. They were talking about the situation with school and how they can help out the football team. There's a good communication and brotherhood amongst the team."

Gallon and his high school teammate Larvez Mars will get to display their brotherhood when the two represent the East team this Saturday. While Gallon will most likely play on the offense at the inside slot position, Mars will be on the other side of the ball at linebacker.

"We're a team, a perfect duo," he said. "It's a good opportunity for us to show our ability and a good experience for us. We joke about it sometimes. It's something we've been talking about with each other."

This weekend's showdown on NBC will be a national stage that Gallon can only smile when thinking about.

"This is awesome just be here and see everybody who's made it," he said. "It's going to be a lot of fun."

Both Virginia Tech and UAB had given Gallon attention before the dead period but he's not interested. Gallon looks forward to signing with Michigan in February.
