Coleman heads south to Cal

Seattle (Wash.) Garfield High defensive tackle Deandre Coleman has been one of the most talked about recruits on the West Coast for quite some time and for good reason. The skilled lineman possesses arguably more potential than any of his fellow Cal classmates with his combination of quickest, size and strength at the point of attack. A U.S. Army All-American this season, Coleman is the top-ranked recruit in the state of Washington.

"I just felt that Cal was the right spot for me," Coleman said. "My mom took a trip there to check things out, and that was a big thing."

BearTerritory.net will have much more on Coleman's signing in the coming hours.
