Five players back for Pittsburgh game

NC State welcomes back junior left tackle Jake Vermiglio, fifth-year senior running back Jamelle Eugene, senior safety Clem Johnson, graduate senior left guard Julian Williams, and redshirt sophomore wide receiver Jay Smith for Saturday's home game against Pittsburgh.

Vermiglio, Williams and Johnson are former starters, and Eugene has past starting experience.

However, NC State lost starting junior wide receiver Owen Spencer to a concussion against Gardner-Webb, and starting freshman cornerback Rashard Smith to an ankle injury.
