Spencer returns, three players still out

NC State junior deep threat wide receiver Owen Spencer is back for Saturday's game at Wake Forest.

Spencer missed the Pittsburgh game because of a concussion suffered against Gardner-Webb.

NC State freshman starting cornerback Rashard Smith will miss his second game with an ankle injury. He is joined by redshirt sophomore defensive end Jeff Rieskamp and redshirt junior safety Javon Walker, who are out with hip and knee injuries. Rieskamp and Walker have miss the first four games of the season.

Mario Carter, TE - knee
Denzelle Good, OL - shoulder
Nate Irving, LB - leg
Colby Jackson, FB - knee
Everett Proctor, QB - shoulder
