A gifted size/speed athlete, Tucker gets up to speed quickly off the ball and eats up the cushion well off the line. Getting on top of corners quickly, he has the straight-line speed to threaten the field vertically. Also, he exhibits surprising balance as a route runner. Does a nice job remaining balanced out of his breaks and snapping off routes at full speed. Has the ability to separate down the field, but he isn't a natural receiver. Struggles to extend his arms and pluck the football away from his body. Isn't real adept adjusting to the throw. Tucker lacks ideal concentration over the middle off the field and has a tendency to look for defenders instead of seeing the football into his frame. Doesn't exhibit ideal hands for the position and will put the ball on the ground. Although he can track the football, it's hard to grade a receiver out highly who fails to consistently catch it. Tucker isn't physical and can be knocked around and battered by any kind of bump off the line. He has some intriguing upside and is a guy who can separate from coverage, but he lacks the concentration needed to be a consistent NFL receiver.
